We are seeking a self-starting and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to assist with the development and sustainment of multiple Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization packages in support of various Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
Render is looking for a Network Engineer to join our highly competent and motivated Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) team supporting work on-site in St. Inigoes, Maryland.
Functional Description: Demonstrated capability in one or more of the Information Technology core areas; Computer System Engineering; Computer System Services; Data Management Services; Modeling, Analysis and Simulation; Professional Support Services; Test, Analysis and Evaluation; and Systems Integration. Experience in systems development, analysis or design. Requires competence in all phases of system analysis techniques, system design concepts, computer programming languages and the ability to work with end users to develop system designs from end users’ specifications.

This position will serve as the NAWC’s on-site liaison supporting ongoing and future IT networking/communications efforts under a fast-moving, highly rewarding program. Primary responsibilities include:
Education Requirements: Preferred education includes completion of a Master’s Degree with a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or IT-related field
Experience Requirements: Minimum experience includes 5 years of relevant experience, preference to more experienced candidates with 12 years of relevant experience.

- Full life cycle support for local and wide area network infrastructure and connected devices
- Installation and configuration of networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, in-line encryption, etc.)
- Troubleshooting/fault isolation of technical issues
- Implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of network security measures
- Oversight and mentorship of subordinate staff
Education Requirements: Preferred education includes completion of a Master’s Degree with a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or IT-related field
Experience Requirements: Minimum experience includes 5 years of relevant experience, preference to more experienced candidates with 12 years of relevant experience.
Desired Experience Includes:
- Experience with designing, analyzing, configuring, and troubleshooting IP networks
- Comprehensive experience configuring Cisco® equipment
- Knowledge of routing protocols and other networking technologies including OSPF, RIP, VRF, VLAN, MPLS, IP multicast, IP QoS, and IPSec
- Experience managing network device (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, cryptographic equipment, etc.)
- Active DoDD 8140/DoD 8570 certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with Microsoft® Visio
- CCNP certification
- WSUS or RedHAT Satellite Server experience
- Experience implementing DISA STIGs, group policies, and HBSS
